• Notes	Ada Servian was born Hadassah Karpowitz in Suwalki gubernia (near hamlet of Carpowicze) in 1845. Her father's name was Jacob. She died in Liverpool in 1917. Ada and Joseph lived in Whitefield Rd, Everton for most of their time in Liverpool, but in later years moved into central Liverpool where they had a shop. [source: J whitehead]
