    • Possibly a member of this family: Meir Schorr who adopted the last name Brodsky, (after he moved from Brody and settled in Kyiv). He had five sons: Israel Brodsky (1823 1889) who surpassed his brothers in wealth and philantropy, Lazar Brodsky and Leon Brodsky who were practically at the head of sugar industry in Russia (owned 22 sugar factories and 3 refineries).
