  	Inscription: Aaron Asher GOLDSMID of Cavendish Square. Born in London in the month of June 1785 A M 5546 a magistrate of the county of Middlesex, a manager of the Royal institution of Great Britain and an active member of many other literary and benevolent institutions. An affectionate husband and father and a true friend. Firm in his own religious convictions yet ever most tolerant towards those of others. He zealously advocated and liberally supported the diffusion of knowledge among all classes of his countrymen. He died as he had lived in the faith and hope of a blessed immortality. On the 18th of Cheshvan A M 5621 – 3rd Day of Nov 1860 aged 75 years.
