Inscription: There[s]a Lizzie the beloved wife of the Revd Solomon Conquy whose sun set whilst ? as yet da(y) leaving to bewail her loss a sorrow stricken husband, disconsolate parents and a large circle of friends to whom she was an object of tender and affectionate regard, Her truly aimiable (charact?)er displayed in all their amplitude benevolent ----- and purity of heart. She was born Dec 19 187? And died Nov 23rd 1897 also Theresa Orovida their infant child died Jan 23rd 1898 age 2 months.

From the Hebrew inscription [Transliterated by R & M Romem]: An educated woman and young. As good looking as Tirzta and as honest as a dove. A crown to her parents and to her husband. She was beloved by her brothers and sisters.
She died of a difficult childbirth, mourned by all who knew her. Mrs Toiva Tzirtsa the daughter of our teacher Reb Dov Shpayers and the wife of the G (letter Gimmel ...may stand for Gaon, Shlomo Konky the cantor (Chazzan) of the holy community Sepharadi Jews in the Gate of the Heavens in London. She died with a good name on the eve of the 28th of Heshvan taf resh nun het....
