Bancroft Road Jewish Cemetery (Maiden Lane), London, 1. England, UK

Notes: Bancroft Road Jewish Cemetery: Opened in about 1810 by Maiden Lane Synagogue and closed in 1907. Bombed during WW2 causing damage to many of the headstones, few remain. It was described in 1896 as crowded with upright gravestones (London Burial Grounds by Mrs Basil Holmes, 1896 Fisher-Unwin).
