Bath Jewish Burial Ground -Open day 20 Sept 2020
We are delighted to have been in contact with Christina Hilsenrath Craig, Chair, Friends of the Bath Jewish Burial Ground, who is studying and researching all those buried at Bath Jewish Burial Ground, Combe Down. With some exciting new finds.
Although the cemetery is relatively small it is filled with members of the Jewish community of Bath and also from further afield, people who had come for the ‘cure’ or found there way to Bath from Poland.
This burial ground stands as a memorial to the Jewish community of Bath which has now vanished.
The Open day on 20 Sep 2020 11am to 4pm has been organised by the Friends of Bath Jewish Burial Ground and given Christina’s knowledge of those buried there it will be a fascinating event!

If you are unable to make this open day, then Christina is happy to show people round on private tours which can be arranged by making contact through their website.
